Daniel Defense DD5V5 - One Accurate AR!

Once again, I find myself with a long queue of articles awaiting publication in TheTruthAboutGuns.com.

This is NOT a complaint or brag, just an observation. Each of these articles has an associated video. Some of the videos are from interviews with manufacturers or hosts for hunting trips. Others record yours truly and/or Frances (my lovely assistant and wife) discussing a product and then using said product.

During this waiting period, I thought it might be good to share the videos, with a brief introduction. I'll post a link to the full articles at TTAG as soon as they appear.

Today's offering involves the third Daniel Defense firearm that I was sent to review - this time, their AR-platform DD5V5 rifle.

Frances and I were allowed to again spend time on the Government Training Institute's 'level range'. There we tested the accuracy of the DD5V5, coupled with the Hornady ammunition sent to us by Joe Marler of Daniel Defense and Neal Emery of Hornady; during our workup we fired at targets ranging from 100 yards to >700 yards. Our accuracy at the longest distances averaged ~95%.
